"Pangea" was the name of the earth's original continent when it was one connected landmass. For us, "Pangea" symbolizes the unity and oneness of our global community. The pinata-globe depicted above was a gift by one of our board members.
Shelby is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), specializing in nonprofit accounting. As one of Pangea's early board members, Shelby served the organization as an advisory member prior to joining the board of directors starting in 2013.
Leah is a staff attorney with the Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach (APILO). Prior to joining Pangea's board of directors, Leah served on the Pangea's advisory board.
Jesus is a DREAMer and organizer for the nonprofit organization PACT in San Jose, California. He joined Pangea's board of directors in 2015.
Elaine is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and serves as the Director of Investments at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF). She joined Pangea's board in January 2016.
George is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Penserra, a diversified institutional financial services firm based in San Francisco and New York. George joined Pangea's board in March 2016.
Suman is the Communications Director at the East Bay Asian Youth Center. She joined Pangea's Board in July 2016.
Michelle is a licensed private investigator in the state of California and a mitigation specialist at Community Resource Initiative (CRI), a capital defense office and resource center based in San Francisco, California. She is a founding board member at Pangea Legal Services and worked to build the organization at its formation stages.
