TIME COMMITMENT

We need community organizers for all three steps of the process. Community organizers can provide support for as many steps as they would like:

STEP ONE, Preparation and survey development: In the first few weeks, organizers’ work will include putting together survey questions and translating questions into other languages. Will also join monthly meetings with leaders from the collaborative organizing this initiative.

Anticipated hours: up to 5/week, maximum of 25 hours

STEP TWO, Survey administration: Organizers will then administer up to 50 surveys per language. Organizers can work from home,  on their own schedule and administer as many surveys as they like. Surveys can be conducted in person, over zoom or by phone. Organizers will record responses and provide a written summary of responses.

Anticipated hours: up to 20 min scheduling each survey, ~one hour per survey, plus one hour for response report-back. Maximum of 110 hours

STEP THREE, Survey analysis and Town Hall: The town hall will be held in early 2022. Organizers will support the leadership development of community members who participated in the survey to help plan and execute the townhall meeting. First, organizers will help review and analyze survey results to identify community members who have demonstrated leadership potential. Organizers will then have follow up meetings with those surveyed to discuss the community challenges and needs identified through the survey.

Anticipated hours: up to 20/week, maximum of 80 hours/month.
