Pangea staff advocate for immigrant friendly policies on four levels:
- Local (through collaboratives like FREE-SF and FIRE Coalition in Santa Clara County)
- State (through annual events like Immigrant Day)
- National (by annually helping coordinate the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s National Day of Action in Washington, D.C.)
- International (through initiatives like the International Migrants Bill of Rights)
Our policy advocacy work is informed by our direct representation and community empowerment efforts. In each step of the way, we weave in our client stories and voices to make recommendations and ask for more just immigration policies for our community.
