Nallely’s passion for immigrants’ rights stems from her own life experience as a formerly undocumented DACA recipient. She appreciates the value of available legal services and resources to immigrant communities and is proud to be a part of Pangea and its mission.
Prior to joining Pangea, Nallely (she/her/ella) was an Immigrants’ Rights Senior Paralegal on the Keeping Communities Together Pod at Centro Legal de la Raza in Oakland, CA. There, Nallely prepared and filed a variety of immigration applications for adults seeking deportation and affirmative relief before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the San Francisco Immigration Court. Nallely worked on a variety of cases including defensive asylum, adjustment of status, and naturalization.
Nallely was also a Willie Brown Fellow at the San Francisco Human Rights Commission (HRC) during her time at San Francisco State University. There, she developed a survey and generated data for the HRC to better assess the needs of the undocumented “Dreamer” population. Nallely also analyzed how the HRC offers practices to the community; in particular, to youth and transitional age youth.
Nallely received her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University ('19) and is a J.D. candidate at Golden Gate University School of Law ('26).
For fun, Nallely enjoys binge-watching comedy shows with her husband and three cats and trips to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
